About me

My name is Ahmed Negida; I’m a final year medical student at the School of Medicine of Zagazig University, Egypt (MBBCh candidate 2018). I’m planning for a career in Neurological Surgery with a main focus on brain cancer surgery, traumatic brain injuries, cerebrovascular stroke, stereotactic and functional neurosurgeries, and brain stimulation for epilepsy and movement disorders. A substantial part of my time is dedicated to research activities related to Global Health, Global Surgery, Evidence-based Medicine, research methodology, medical statistics, academic publishing, and research ethics. Having led several research networks on the national, regional, and international scales, I’m interested in building research capacity and building collaborative networks.
