Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

This is a hands-on workshop that aims at teaching participants about the methodology of systematic reviews and meta-analysis with practical application on RevMan software and case scenarios from published systematic review and meta-analysis articles from PubMed. 

Prior knowledge about clinical study designs and biostatistics is required for this workshop. This workshop is NOT suitable for the beginner level.

Second day
– Introduction to Meta-analysis
8- Choosing the best statistical method for each outcome
9- Pooling continuous and dichotomous data
10- Interpretation of Forest plot
11- Interpretation of Funnel plot for Assessment of Publication bias
13- Subgroup analysis and Sensitivity analysis
14- PRISMA checklist
15- Data analysis [workshop]

Third day
16- Estimation of missing data in the meta-analysis
17- Meta-regression analysis: concept, procedures, and interpretation
18- Cumulative meta-analysis
19- Leave one out meta-analysis
20- IPD meta-analysis, NMA network meta-analysis (define & example only)
21- Examples and practical simulation workshop on Meta-analysis
